Our next Open Mike will take place on Saturday, 28 April 2012, in the Parish Hall of Theodore Parker Church in West Roxbury.

Sign-up begins at 7 pm, and performances begin at 7:30 pm.

Admission is FREE (although donations to help cover expenses will be gratefully accepted).

We’re the most open mike in the Boston area. So bring whatever you’ve got: originals, jazz, classical, folk songs, poetry, rock, blues, rap, Broadway, cabaret, comedy, impressions, theatrical improv, or whatever else you’ve got.

A grand piano (and a pianist) is available, and we have a stage and a sound system.

Everyone is welcome, any genre and any style. Family friendly (and we welcome young performers).

Or come just to listen: we’re your best live-entertainment value in West Roxbury! (You can’t beat FREE!)

We have no budget for food and drinks, so feel free to bring some!

Admission is FREE (although donations to help cover expenses will be gratefully accepted).This month, help us say farewell and show our appreciation to Dorothy Thompson and Kira the Wonder Dog, who are moving to Florida. Dorothy has been one of the organizers of our open mike since the beginning, taking care of many of the behind-the-scenes details the are absolutely essential to making things run smoothly. We’ll miss her terribly.

And where else are we going to find a dog who barks in sync with the bluegrass?
